@salsabilaaart: In 2020, a mother swan passed away from a broken heart. It started when a group of teenagers brutally smashed her nest with bricks, destroying 3 of her eggs. The tragedy didn't stop there, and eventually, only 1 egg remained. Due to the extreme stress, her lifelong mate leave the nest and disappeared. Left entirely alone and grieving, the mother swan was found dead on her nest just weeks later next to her last unhatched egg. Swans mate for life and feel deep emotional trauma.
