I went to to thrift store at 1/2 off day and picked up the homemade wool crocheted tote purse. I think the thrift store didn't think very highly of it since they had a price tag of 90 cents. I paid a whopping 45 cents. I threw it in the wash on high heat to "felt" it and cut it to fit over one of my previous video projects @dream_it_craft I sewed a basket stitch around all edges and gave it room to grow. I did think that if this journal is fashioned with the purse handles that it had to have some elements for travel, a "journal on the go", I guess. The first signature is sewn in and is for junk journaling - will have pockets, tucks, foldouts, etc. The second signature is made of plain paper. I made that removable so that this journal will never get filled up and have to be stored. You can use this section as a diary, a sketch pad, or remove it and replace it with a day planner. And finally the 3rd portion is a pouch that can hold writing instruments, wallet, or even stickers or ephemera. #creativejournaling #junkjournal #artjournal #thriftflips #ephemera #junkjournalideas
Spicy Korean Steak Noodles 🍜 🥩👩🏻‍🍳Ingredients: 1 lb sliced steak 2 tbsp oil 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/8 cup dark soy sauce 1 tbsp sugar 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1/4 cup gochujang 1/2 tbsp white pepper 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes, optional 3 cups spinach 1 cup purple cabbage, sliced 3 packs ramen noodles, seasoning packets removed Instructions: -In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, gochujang, sugar, white pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour half of the sauce over the sliced steak and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or use right away. Reserve the remaining sauce for later. -Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the steak and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside. -In the same pan, add the cabbage and cook for 1–2 minutes. Add the spinach and cook until slightly wilted. Add the cooked ramen noodles (al dente), the steak, and the remaining sauce. Toss everything together well and enjoy🫶🏻 ##beef##steak##noodles##quickrecipes##dinner
