@vsithe: #aceattorney 🪭 like anyone else who played turnabout storyteller, I have my thoughts... Uendo & co, however, are not one of my complaints at all actually. I really like his character, and his outfit is reminiscent of the proto-psychological theory of the four temperaments, which is a fantastic little detail given who he is [and the fact that there’s two psychologists in the defense team!] — basically, the colors can be attributed to a sect of personality, and even the amount of each color in his outfit seems to correlate to how often each of them speaks. Uendo Toneido is genuinely my favorite witness in all of Ace Attorney I feel. I'm always a sucker for an Ace Attorney character that reminds you the game isn't American because they're so irrevocably Japanese for one. But also I just feel like everything about them goes together so nicely and I adore them. The ponytail switch for each alter is such a cute idea, especially for such a cartoon physics ass game series. A character with rapid switching alters with distinct personalities taking the career where the entire performance hinges on performing multiple personalities with minimal props? Genius?? And I also love how Athena automatically assumes when Uendo is revealed to have DID that he has an evil alter that committed the murder but actually the hidden alter is a child and everyone else was the “evil alter” so to speak because of their crimes and apathy. I just wish Turnabout Storyteller wasn't filler. I adore this case. Uendo and Geiru are awesome characters, Simon and Athena have a wonderful dynamic, it has interesting character work for Nahyuta, and the fact this is all happening while Dhurke is DYING IN FRONT OF MAYA OVERSEAS is hilarious. Bucky is the only kinda nothingburger character there but that could've been fixed if the case was longer and actually gave him screentime where he wasn't drunk. And oh my god I wish they could've let Uendo, Bucky, and Geiru TALK TO EACH OTHER AT ALL because the triple layered betrayal going on could've had such emotional conversations to reveal??? Like I need to know what Uendo thought of Geiru framing a child he didn't know about and how much she hated him?? I need to know how Bucky feels about Uendo framing him out of panic??? I need to know more about Geiru in general??? And so on?!?! CAN SIMON LET US IN ON HIS FEELINGS HERE MAN EVERYONE INVOLVED IS HIS FRIEND?!?! Sorry rant over lolol I swear I'm normal about Spirit of Justice.
