Just happened to me last week. he was one of my favorites. Last summer i would always dance with him and sing along to whatever was playing on his radio, it always made him smile. came in after a week off and he was gone.

Been a CNA for 12 years. I experienced my first patient lost last September. I was in shamblessss! Wasn’t even attached to the patient. Working agency and it still was hard. I can’t imagine it being my favorite.

My resident passed on my off day, and she used to Call me every morning to check on me, and see if I was working and to hear all about my day since she didn’t get out the facility much so it brought her joy to hear about my day and I felt like something was off when she didn’t call me that day :/
