I truly hope and pray that I get someone like you during my ICU rotation. OB was great, med surg was horrible because the nurses hated us😞

Who hit who :
I am currently in my 3rd week on my first rotation new grad in cardio thoracic ICU at a level 1 trauma hospital. I was a shit show the first 2 weeks, the nurses had so much patience with me, now I am slowly everyday getting better, pushing myself to do the best I can each shift. Hopefully it will get easier 🙏 I don’t allow myself to have pre shift anxiety I go in with a positive mindset and go from there.

I loved being a preceptor and enjoyed nursing students. A gifted student would show up and I went stealth recruiting mode! It worked!
