As much as Fortnite doesn’t hit the same anymore, I can’t lie, most of my online friends came from that game, and some of my happiest memories were made there. Late nights laughing in party chat, landing the same spots every match, staying up way too late just to play “one more game”… it honestly felt like a second home. Now it just feels different. Watching Fortnite slowly change and seeing people move on hurts more than I expected. It’s like watching a huge piece of my childhood fade away. All those moments, the excitement of new seasons, the friendships that started from random squads, they meant so much at the time, and I didn’t even realize how special it was while it was happening. Seeing everyone say Fortnite is dying almost feels personal, because it’s not just a game to me. It’s memories, friends, and a time in my life I wish I could go back to even for one night
