@its.anya.lacey: Women can be unbelievably hard on themselves. We’ll stare at a photo for twenty minutes finding every tiny flaw while a man can take a blurry gas station selfie and genuinely believe he belongs on a magazine cover. That’s not to say men don’t struggle with insecurity, because they absolutely do, but their confidence-to-reality ratio can be hilarious sometimes. Meanwhile, some of the most beautiful women I know are convinced they need to lose five pounds, change their hair, and completely reinvent themselves. It’s funny how often women see imperfections where everyone else sees beauty.
