I agree. I am a CNA at a hospital and I hope I never have a code any time soon because I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how they run a code because they don’t teach us or give us resources like a mock code or videos to show what a typical code and roles are. It’s sad, the system is just drowning

I took staff I wasn't feeling well they told me if I go home the floor will be short..I don't and EKG on myself ..walked of the floor when to Er..I had a heart attack ,99.9 percent blockage....I will always put me first

once, I suddenly got sick and started having chest pains at work, and my coworkers called a code and sent me down to ER. turns out, I had a STEMI. I was prepped and in Cath lab in 18 minutes! In ICU before 9 pm. I cannot imagine!

They sent 4 other people home bc they were overstuffed too! She had sickle cell and went into sickle cell crisis

Law suit!!!! My god!!! I do want to say you’re not wrong though I’m a retired paramedic but if I had to say someone’s life by CPR, I don’t know if I could today not only have things changed, but I don’t remember so well. What I do hope is if I do have to use it it’s gonna be embedded into me where I could save somebody, but I don’t want anybody depending on me. I need a class and they’re not out there like they used to be.
