What makes that picture heavy: after Nipsey was killed in 2019, his family took Emani in and a years-long custody battle followed between them and her mother. It didn't fully settle until 2025, when Tanisha and Blacc Sam were granted joint custody. Now they're both standing next to her at her graduation. Nipsey wasn't there to see it.
