@foodsofjane: This is notttttt a basic tomato-basil pasta salad, it is an absolute treasure and show stopper, imo 🍅🥇 let me tell you why: 1 - these tiny sprinkle tomatoes + the mozzarella pearls + the dainty little ditalini noodles make for the perfect cohesive texture and flavor...it's actually impossible to experience a bite without every single element on your spoon!! 2 - THE TOMATO VINAIGRETTE!! 🔥🍅 I grated half of a large, juicy, super ripe tomato right into the vinaigrette and it added so much flavor!! Tomato vin - 1/2 cup evoo 1/4 cup champagne vinegar (any cooking vinegar will work!) 1 large garlic clove, grated 1/3 cup juices from a grated tomato 1 pinch salt 1 pinch pepper **I used about 3/4 a box of ditalini and equal parts (about a cup of each) mini tomatoes and mini mozzarella balls. mixed in some basil and parm too.
