I used to only watch school teachers kids for this reason, summers off with my own kids. Worked well. Something to consider, finding families that only need care during the school year.

Your vulnerability has me teary-eyed. As a mama of three boys - 19, 16, and 12, you are exactly right about not getting the time back. Your family needs to be the priority right now and that’s okay.
