@branden.a.smith: The Coleman stove is still one of the most legendary pieces of gear ever made and the story behind it is even better. There are still endless stories of people using the same Coleman stove their parents had. Sorry to all the blackstone fans but the Coleman but the Coleman sits in the number one spot. I’m also aware that yeti doesn’t make a 32 oz bottle. I should have checked mine before 😂. #camp

I have what I can only assume is my grandfathers old USAAF Coleman stove. My father use to take it everywhere with us, and it’s been rebuilt about a dozen times.

Ernie Pyle’s house is on the street I grew up on in in Albuquerque, his house was turned into a public library but basically untouched from the 1940s grass still gets cut every other day and there’s a wonderful memorial to him inside. Legendary man.

Neat story. Meanwhile modern Coleman stoves are borderline terrible.

I had a Coleman multifuel stove for many years. It never let me down,it even melted a mess tin once. When it really got going to sounded like a steam train. The best stove I have ever had.

That someone who’s lived in the state of Kansas their entire 38 years of life how the hell do I not know that the Coleman stove that everyone takes Cami with them was made for the military in Wichita, Kansas or was it Topeka Kansas?
