This is what happens to traitors. “Bella” — not her real name — had an in-game relationship with me last season. At first she seemed sweet, and when she had problems with her old alliance, I supported her and even helped bring her to my server. Over time, however, she became increasingly possessive, jealous, and manipulative. She would accuse me of things I had not done and, when angry with me personally, would sometimes take that anger into the game in ways that hurt the alliance. After many attempts to communicate, I eventually stopped engaging with her because I believed that was the best way to reduce the drama and protect the alliance. At the same time, several R4s and other members suspected she was deliberately undermining us during events or cooperating with opponents. But suspicion is not proof, so we took no action. Then last week, we finally saw something directly. During Kill Day, our Alliance Duel was extremely close. She intentionally lowered her shield and allowed our AD opponent to attack her and gain points. We caught it happening, told her to stop, and she continued anyway. That was the final straw. She was removed from the alliance, and this video shows what happened afterward. If this account migrates to your server, I would strongly advise leadership to understand the history before accepting her. Be cautious if you do not want personal drama spilling into alliance politics or actions that benefit your opponents. And one final warning from my own experience: be careful forming relationships based entirely on someone’s online persona and photos. I met this player in real life, and what I encountered was very different from what had been presented to me online. Enemies are expected in a war game. Betrayal from inside your own alliance is different. #supershrimp #darkwarsurvival
