📍Jamaica land we love ❤️🇯🇲 By the looks of things, it’s probably best to stay away from lyrics and focus on the visuals of this #hillandgullyriddim becauseeeeee real Jamaica still exist, country people still a keep the light burning 🔥 Anyways- what started out as a combination of random phone shots taken in and around Jamaica’s countryside from as far back as 2022, became something much bigger and deeper in my mind. It was nostalgic of a period much further…. This was my childhood! Gosh. Though most of these shots seem to relate to each other, the truth is that most are not even from the same parish nor date. I’ve just deliberately woven them in this way to tell the story of our shared experiences from the rural parts of Jamaica. Characterized by a genuine sense of sharing and caring, with a deep respect and symbiotic relationship with nature, THIS is how I grew up ( Ive literally set a cane field on fire, rode donkeys, bathe at the river, played marble, freely picked fruits from neighbors, go to ganja bush, ketch crabs, gone fishing, shot birds with slingshots and the list continues) In some way, shape or form, each shot can by tied to a core memory that has made me who I am today; a little feral 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 but grounded, giving, strong values and love people.
