I guess it honestly depends on the situation though. some jobsites dont allow phone usage in my line of work. other times I could be with my kids or going through a rough mental breakdown. not every instance of not being answered is deliberately meant to hurt the other party.

what really makes me mad is when they do that so then I start matching their effort and then they get mad and say im the one bad at texting. im literally going through that now so I just ghosted

honestly sometimes I see the notification, dismiss it to make a note to reply, finish what I was doing, then forget to reply bc the notification is gone.
