@rekha.mistry: How to deter flies (and midges too)! During hot summer days, jeep doors and windows open and suddenly, flies seem to appear from nowhere! This combo of lemon and cloves works a treat. After a week, I simply remove the cloves. Place them in a dry pan over a medium heat and toss them dry. Within minutes they dry and start to release oil again. Take a freshly lemon cut in half and reuse/ insert the cloves again. More tips: Create a candle oil diffuser (lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree or lemongrass) and this will help deter the pest too. Ps.use just one oil never a combination of two or more A strong mix of Apple Cider Vinegar, a little water and a drop of washing up liquid placed in a bowl works too.
