You have to find the right hinge protector case. It can't be one with all kinds of extra add ons and designs. I have a simple case from Amazon with a hinge protector that never touches the hinge. I've had it since I got the phone last September and never had an issue. I dropped my phone recently and it heavily scuffed a corner of the hinge protector but you can best bet it protected my phone and didn't cause any damage to the hinge. 👀🙌

Since switching to z flip ive been using @BURGA they hands down have the BEST Z flip cases they are super cute and trendy, fit so well and have stickers on the inside to ensure they NEVER come off. Before them I wasted so much money on cases that never fit or break etc etc...
