i especially dont like the way pom and rag were written because in the beginning pomni seemed to dislike ragatha a bit, and we learned that a few other characters were a bit uncomfortable with her. but then they have an off screen conversation and are suddenly best friends?? i hated how everything important in this show would happen off screen and viewers are just supposed to fill in the blanks themselves. i love ragatha and i can understand how she won over pomni in the end, but im upset we never saw it

it's an amazing show IN CONCEPT. A lot of the work is done by the fandom and thats undeniable similarly to gnb(a roblox game which has a really cool idea but terrible way of exploring it). And that sucks so much. It could've been so much more if the show had let itself breathe and do filler episodes which I'm convinced were possible and would've done so much for the development of the characters. Also the cancer of it is Jax, specifically his sugarcoating he gets from the fandom AND the author

Also when Gangle says she's worried about Jax seeking payback the literal next scene is Pomni asking about his fear of corn. Jax isn't even thinking about her and it makes her worries come off as delusional

Ragatha is the prime example of bad "show not tell" in the show imo. They keep telling us they can't really trust her and that she's a people pleaser, but other than what they tell us, I don't really see it. Ragatha is kind and anxious at most, they surely didn't show well her "people pleaser side", let alone why shouldn't they trust her

im so disappointed like when i saw this show for the first time, i thought "wow it's kinda deep, there are a lot of theories and explanations about characters behavior!". but now i understand that it's all just our thoughts. this show isn't even deep or well-written. and if the 9 episode leaks are real, i won't be surprised. like i already know that gooseworks like only jax and she really doesn't care about the others or even about the lore. it's her show ofc, but glitch really shouldn't let autors SO MUCH freedom. sorry for the mistakes, my english isn't good, i just want to explain my opinion about it, if someone cares

it pisses me off so much when people say "oh if the show had more episodes we could see other characters get their development", when NO, we couldn't, because even when goose tries to make an episode centered around other characters, it ALWAYS comes back to jax somehow, just because he's her favorite character.

(⚠️SPOILERS⚠️) Another example of TADC's "say don't show" problem is when Zooble just says they wanted to leave their mark on the world. I had no idea she had any sort of ambitions during all her time in the show. I really wish the show delved into that more since the ending made a point that Zooble did leave their mark on the world. If it was that important to Zooble's character, we NEEDED to see more of a set up for those desires and ambitions and how being trapped in the circus explicitly robbed her of pursuing their dreams. Controversial, but I liked the like ppt slide show where it's revealed how their real life versions are happy and manage to achieve and overcome their struggles and identity issues. But it felt like so much less of a payoff because there was so little previous exploration for all the characters that arent Jax. I love that Zooble real life version was able to leave their mark on the world, but it would've been so much more impactful if Zooble's character was explored more regarding that area. (⚠️SPOILERS⚠️)

I feel most people that say "I think the show needed more episodes" Dont see the issue. The problem ISNT that we lacked time, if we had more episodes, that would've given more screentime to Jax. He has been gobbling up the screentime in the show that SHOULD have been divided
