Mr. Anonymous :
Thank you for all 7 videos in the valuation series. They are really helpful and I learned a lot. I am wondering if you have any plans to conduct the full course on investment in the stock market. I am very much interested and would pay to take that class and learn from you.

Drilling Engineer here having been in the E&P sector for almost 30 years. Most investors see oil and gas production numbers. Stock analysts see BOE (Barrel of Oil Equivalent). Internally we make certain critical operational decisions during drilling activities based on BOE. BOE is the common unit that converts oil & gas production into a single metric, allowing analysts to compare E&P companies on an apples-to-apples basis. But production volume alone isn’t enough. The real questions are: How much revenue is generated per BOE? What is the operating cost per BOE? How much free cash flow does each BOE produce? How many BOEs remain in reserves for future growth? In upstream energy investing, every BOE represents potential future cash flow. That’s why analysts often say: “BOE is not just a production metric - it’s a unit of future earnings.”
