the biggest issue with his art isn’t necessarily the skill level. i think art deserves to exist regardless of talent or skill level but the second you start charging thousands of dollars for unprofessional, unpolished work then yeah youre gonna get your art dragged through the mud. these pieces arent really “Bad” necessarily but theyre not good enough to be sold for the prices he offers them at

I'm an abstract painter too but I feel like he's splattering things on a canvas just to splatter things, like, with zero intention, I guess it doesn't have to have any intention but then is it really art to be interpreted if you, while making the painting, had no real thoughts or feeling going into it? cause then without puting anything in there with intention there's no material for people to be able to interpret and think about what that painting means, yknow?
