It's also the fact that they do it for others but never for me. I've always done things for them, and they've never reciprocated but they'll do it for someone they barely just met. I don't really understand. But what can I say? I can't ask to be considered or cared about. I can't ask for them to remember things I've mentioned or to buy me things randomly bc I just mentioned it. Or to care. I did that for them, they did it for others. Just not for me.

Not everyone has the same heart as yours, so don't expect them to do for you what you've done for them. Be kind. Be genuine. Give without keeping score. But expect the least, because not everyone will value your effort, loyalty, and sacrifices the way you do. Some people will appreciate it. Some won't. Either way, let your goodness remain your strength not your weakness. 🙂

Cross and just said "read this." no context nothing. i read it in two days and now i understand why she didn't wanna explain over text. the way D. Cross breaks down how systems of control actually operate is insane. not insane like crazy. insane like why doesn't everyone know this

I love and hate to be such a giver. To make people feel special. But it’s just bc I know how it feels to not feel that way. Just like when someone’s talking and no one’s listening, I’ll look right at them and say “What was that” bc I know how it feels to talk and no one listens
