The skill ceiling is high, yes, but that’s what makes learning the skills so fun. Smoke line-ups, off angles, site timings, etc. CS IMO is one of the best FPS games in FPS history. If you’re bad at it, ofc you’re gonna call it lame. Take the time to notice the uniqueness in this game

"Cs is boring if you're bad" no, it's boring because it's too competitive FOR SOME PEOPLE, not everyone wants to spend thousands hours grinding the game just to be able to compete with other players, it's not fun to do the same stuff over and over again, buy AK or M4, repeating the same pattern of buying only a few weapons, because the rest is useless in almost every scenario, BUT I'm NOT saying they should make tec9 a pocket AWP with high firerate for 10 bucks, just for fun, I'm saying that it's not interesting to repeat for hundreds of times. That's why people switch to other games, like valorant where there's always something new or battlefield, where you get a whole lot of weapons that you can try out without suffering miserable 24/7 just because it's not ak, m4 or AWP or different transport, that's why people might not like cs, not because they want Miki Minaj or whatever, but because people play games for fun, which such competitiveness would provide only after putting lots of hours in learning.
