You have to build routine. And don’t answer when they meow at the door. It teaches them you will respond. Also always keep the bedroom off limits so they’re not use to being in there. Good luck 👍🏾 😊

i trained my cat to stop waking me up at 4am screaming for food by putting on my noise canceling headphones and maybe even earplugs and blasting brown noise in my ears and going back to sleep. it finally worked and she realized i am not getting up at 4am anymore

I even make my cat wait to be fed at least 30 minutes after I wake up so he doesn’t think him waking me up is going to result in breakfast but it truly doesn’t matter to him 😭

My cat was used to a 5 am breakfast before I moved out of my ex’s place, a not even 3 weeks have gone by and now she waits until 8:30 to wake me up for breakfast. It really is just about ignoring them and showing them the new routine
