Your tears a valid. My husband last year cut my mulberry tree I had grown from seed. He thought it was just a random tree and cut it down. I CRIED! I didn’t want to see him it was horrible. I get it

I get that contractors have jobs to do. But that doesn’t not mean that our yards don’t matter and is fair game for them to destroy. Have some respect for others. There was no need for them to stomp around your garden. I’m so sorry. Your feelings are valid

What sucks is that the foxglove is a 2 year plant. So they should reimburse you for them because at second year they drop their seeds for next years vegatative growth so the second year can flower.

call the city and ask what company had a permit to dig at your address, take pictures and send a letter to the company asking for reimbursement for the damages to your garden. The workers should have been as careful as possible
