In my opinion, Han Seo-jun was a better match for Ju-kyung than Su-ho. I’m not saying that Su-ho didn’t love her, because it was obvious that he cared about her and appreciated her for who she really was. However, from the beginning he was often cold, distant, and difficult to understand. When Ju-kyung was sad or crying, he usually didn’t know how to comfort her or support her in the way she needed. Seo-jun, on the other hand, always paid attention to her feelings. Whenever he saw her upset, he tried to cheer her up, make her smile, or simply stay by her side. He made her feel cared for and never acted like her problems were a burden to him.
I also loved how Seo-jun accepted Ju-kyung exactly as she was. Learning her secret didn’t change the way he treated her at all. Their relationship felt more natural to me because they could joke around, laugh together, and be themselves around each other. I feel like Seo-jun showed his love through actions more than words. Even when he knew he might get hurt, he still wanted Ju-kyung to be happy. That’s why I think he was more caring, more emotionally available, and more present in her life. For me, Seo-jun understood Ju-kyung better and was simply a better match for her than Su-ho.
