@age.undefined: I walked out of the dressing room feeling unsettled today. Not because of my size. Because my body has changed so much, so quickly. At 64, shopping isn't about fitting into a certain size anymore. It's about learning what works for this season of life. Aging is teaching me to stop chasing who I was and start embracing who I am becoming. Any other women over 50 that can relate? ❤️ #womenover50 #midlifewomen #menopause #womenover60 #realtalk
I can so relate to you. I’m 64 and around 59 everything started changing in my body. I always and still work out. But my body is so different. Huge change for me. I just can’t wear all of the things that used to look great on me. I definitely have had to adjust to what works for me. 😏

I turn 68 next week. Same size for several decades: thin, tall, svelte. Now, I no longer wear sleeveless. skin is crepy and wrinkly. Sad. I work out, but the skin!! I'm a curly natural red head (still, grateful). But, I need sleeves. Sleeves, please.

I remember my body changing after having my first child, I lost all the weight and then some but yet certain clothes didn't fit the same. Feels like that's what's going on in my life now that I am 66.

I've noticed such a change in how clothes feel. I just don't feel comfortable in my body. I have always been active and love working out, but my body has changed. 😳

Take it as a positive. You’ve probably worn the same “uniform” look for ages. Maybe try boutique looks you’ve never considered. Have fun with this new found freedom

I’m 64. Size 8. But my legs are scrawny and my tummy is fat. Don’t even mention bra bulge. Drives me nuts. But, I’m fairly ok with things. I just wish my ass wasn’t so flat and my legs weren’t so bony.

Yes! It’s so hard and something nobody warned me about. As much as I love shopping with my daughters, trying cloths on with 20 year olds just adds to the hyperventilation. This aging thing isn’t for the faint of heart.
