"NEW MASK SAME TASK" | DR DOOM | AVENGERS DOOMSDAY Doctor Doom already looks absolutely terrifying in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer. Every scene with him carries so much presence that he instantly feels like one of the most intimidating villains the MCU has ever introduced. He doesn't need over-the-top dialogue or constant action to feel threatening. Just the way he walks, speaks, and commands every frame is enough to make him feel like a true final boss. What's even more impressive is Robert Downey Jr.'s performance. It's genuinely hard to believe this is the same actor who spent over a decade playing Tony Stark. The confidence, the voice, the body language, and the expressions are completely different. There isn't a trace of Iron Man in this version of the character, which is a testament to just how incredible an actor he is. If this trailer is anything to go by, Robert Downey Jr. isn't returning as Iron Man in a different suit. He's disappearing into Doctor Doom, and that's exactly what makes the performance feel so exciting. This could end up being one of the greatest villain performances the MCU has ever seen.
