if they don't acknowledge their wrongdoing on the same platform scale that they caused harm on their insensitivity/uninformedness/bigotry has a bigger voice. I know many creators fail to actually take accountability, change, or take meaningful action, but not saying "that was wrong" opens the door to people walking away thinking it's acceptable or right. I don't necessarily support them in regaining a platform, choices have consequences, but the least they can do is address it publicly

She didn’t simply apologize. She did what she felt was needed to amend the situation. She’s got a psychology degree, she knew the harm her reach could have. She’s the only truly cancelled creator, since it’s a self-enforced cancellation.
