Those are three of my favorite books. I can admit that the Marquez was an exhausting read. I’ve spent enough time in England and reading English literature that I love Mrs. Dalloway.

100 years of solitude is my favorite book. Your main gripe that a lot happens is a literary virtue not a negative. The name thing I get . I had to refer back to the family tree at the beginning of the book every three pages or so.

I plan on reading Kafka on The Shore soon, but I’m kinda scared to tap into Murakami because I’ve heard so much good about his writing, but I’ve also heard that his character writing kinda sucks.

I'm surprise you stopped at the halfway mark of 100 years. The first 150 pages were a struggle but story picked up fast after that. The ending is amazing, you will understand why the names of every generation are the same
