Similar to our set up! We managed to keep our last batch in a similar play pen until about 7 weeks old. Now they have full run of the room but seem to be doing well with the litter so all good!

Wow you’re a fancy foster! 😂 My set-up is much lower budget. My litter goes into an old litter pail that I turned into a trash can and these babies just eat on plates. We have random cut up flannel sheets and fleece instead of towel. I have that same fence though and have found that it works well to make a litter box enclosure to keep the kittens from kicking litter everywhere now that they are older.

This was super helpful info! I happened upon 3 kittens who I am fostering in collaboration with my local kitten rescue. Loved it so much I am turning my spare bedroom into a dedicated foster room!!

I was so happy when my last round of fosters was out of the play yard. No matter how I tried to arrange it they flung pellets everywhere dumped dishes and needed wipe downs daily. I started layering puppy pad like crazy just to make clean up easier because I was having to pull everything out 3-4 times a day 😂
