We don’t want free healthcare. We want the taxes we pay to cover healthcare costs.

Our current system is way more expensive than Universal Healthcare. Saying we can not afford that is a straight up lie to protect the for-profit insurance industry

Initially universal healthcare would add around $3 trillion to the national debt. In turn the government would control drug pricing, not companies, resulting in LESS government spending on healthcare (since Medicare/medicade spending is so high). For example, insulin costs $2-$10 to produce, yet is priced at $100-$300. This, along with every other overpriced medication would be eliminated and would REDUCE healthcare spending by the government.
