f2p literally just means not spending money on the game. you can even have a character c6 with their signature and still be f2p, it'll just take a long time with a lot of investment.

Now I’m not a f2p player, but I’m also not a big time spender (Welkin pretty consistently + <$50 packs occasionally if I’m desperate), and I seriously do not understand the people who complain every second about being f2p. Do some games offer fewer rewards? Yes absolutely, but if you aren’t devoting enough time to a gacha game you’re not going to be good! And sometimes it’s appropriate to complain about rewards each update, but sometimes it’s genuinely not a game problem, it’s a YOU problem.

F2p can mean you have a full premium team with sigs… f2p literally just means that you don’t spend money. If you have nefer premium (even with some constellations) but didn’t spend a dime cause you saved up/got super lucky… then that counts as f2p brah…

if ur f2p you cant afford to be pulling on every banner. you have to be tactical with who you pull and invest into. i have 3 c6 5 stars and multiple others with cons. i skip almost all characters because i know what i want and whats needed to get what i want with minimal spending.

i’m f2p and have phainon and his entire premium team with their light cones (not cerydra’s unfortunately), and lots of 5 star characters, it just takes lots of saving

Ngl meta in Genshin isn’t that bad, completing the endgame content at base level (act 8 for it, floor 11 for abyss and the 450 primos you get from onslaught) you’d only lose out 40 wishes in a year. Which isn’t as much compared to not doing exploration or events
