I think the issue is people equate redemption with forgiveness. Was Anakin redeemed? Yes by coming back to the light BUT is he forgiven for his actions?Nope. Leia suffered politically from being linked to Vader regardless that he ended the empire. Redemption is earned, forgiveness is given

I do believe redemption is earned and it likely depends on if the path forward continues to drive the redeemed acts that help support that redemption.

Earned. You have to be willing to change to earn redemption

Can someone change from prior belief or actions of course and in turn that's redemption but redemption does and and never will remove past doings and that shouldn't be forgotten either.

I feel like Redemption is more of a return to Self rather than something earned or given. Meaning it is intrinsic and not extrinsic.

For me, it is earned. You have to change be able be redeemed and it doesn't matter how much they have done, everyone can be redeemed. Don't get it twisted though, there are things that are completely unredeemable

I was rewatching Tales of the Jedi and Count Dooku was doing missions with a young Qui-gon Jinn and remembered that Dooku was Padawan of Yoda. Did he go on missions with him or was it more like how the younglings learn at the Jedi Temple with Yoda?

Can you talk about why it wasn’t easy to locate Ezra brider when he was stuck in the random world and why Asoka had to get inside the dolphins mouth? Why did they just go to the destination with a spaceship?

I feel like in Vaders case he may redeem himself a bit but it’s defiently not enough for what he has done to the galaxy, perhaps that’s also why he dies at the end, to sacrifice his life for a complete, or at least, a more fulfiiling redemption…

Wasn’t a fan of Vader being redeemed. In my eyes he did too much evil for killing the the guy torturing his son to be redeemed and becoming a force ghost. Some lines can’t be uncrossed
