We use to call them “adventure days” when my mom would just get very anxious and want to leave. We’d get in the car and I’d tell her it was adventure day. We’d just go somewhere random. Ice cream and watch the ducks, drive up into the mountains, anywhere where she feels she went somewhere “far away” in her mind. Helped a lot. Wore me out but it was worth it rather than battling her all day.

I do house keeping at a LTC and we have tonsssss of residents who have these cat! They absolutely love them. But I will say when I first started working I would definitely trip out hearing them going off while I was in the room cleaning by myself😂😅
