As if the largest hot springs pool in the world that stays a pleasant 90 degrees all year round wasn’t enough of a draw, it’s also an extremely walkable place with a lovely downtown, shops and restaurants, and many other outdoor adventures and activities to enjoy like biking, hiking, white water rafting, and parks. Getting there: ✨ If you fly into Denver, it’s about 2.5 hours off of I-70 west - along with all the other lovely mountain towns you’ll drive through Glenwood Canyon, which is really beautiful! ✨ You can also take the train from Union Station - it’s about 6 hours total but you’ll have beautiful views through the Rockies the whole way. Once you arrive at the main station in Glenwood the hotels and the pool are walking distance! ✨Let’s focus on the pool. The admission is steep, BUT you can stay all day long (8 am to 10 pm), which allows you to come and go as you please, the on-site grill offers a variety of food, and the pool has so many amenities and sections. ✨ Pro tip on admission: If you stay at a specific hotel I can send you the link to, everyone in your room gets free breakfast and free pool entry for the days you are staying there (check-in and check-out days count!) This can save you $200 for a family of four. ✨The pool itself has a lazy river/waterslide ride with tubes, a small splash pad, and a small toddler area with three small waterslides and a zero-depth entry wading pool. ✨The other part of the pool is the Grand Pool, which also has a lap area and diving board area. It’s 405 feet long and there’s plenty of room for everyone. Another pro tip: ✨There’s a free air pump there and inflatables are allowed, so bring your tubes or rafts to play on and float on!
