Sorry, when you tab something as ‘tension’ are you talking like? dramatic tension in a scene that’s being built up? surely if you’re reading a stephen king thriller/horror the book would be littered with that tab?

as someone with a masters in english, using tabs/annotating definitely affects your reading comprehension—the general person understands more in depth by doing this as it makes them slow down and really consider events happening rather than just reading through without additional thought

I haven’t understood the necessity of the tabs. I get that you mark different things with each colour but why do you do that? What do you do with these information after you’ve finished the book? And what are the magnets for if you also use a bookmark at the same time? 😊
