Please keep him sitting up for drinking and eating any meals, 30 minutes to an hour of each meal sitting up as great too

At his age and in his condition the meal and drinking liquids time is most important. Extreme carefulness. They should be sitting up so that food and liquids go down safely. Review with doctors to avoid Aspiration or probkems.
