This is one of the most beautiful rooftop restaurants in Melbourne. @Beverly Rooftop is a Cali-inspired rooftop restaurant located on Chapel Street in South Yarra. Located on the 24th floor of Goldfields House, the venue offers stunning 270-degree views stretching across Melbourne and out towards the Dandenong Ranges. There’s also a retractable glass roof, making it a great spot year round. ✨ Chef David Ball leads the open kitchen with a seasonal, produce driven menu that changes regularly, keeping things fresh and exciting for regular visits. You can order à la carte, but we went with the shared Chef’s Selection for $120pp, which was a seriously generous amount of food. They also offer an exclusive guided Chef’s Table Experience every Friday and Saturday night, with just two seats available at the kitchen pass overlooking all the action! 🔥 ✔️ Focaccia, tomato butter - crispy on the outside, fluffy inside ⭐️ Mortadella, stracciatella, hot honey - cooked mortadella is something else! ⭐️ Tuna crudo, ancho chilli, guacamole, cucumber - fresh with a really nice chilli kick of chilli ⭐️ Lobster wild-caught prawn casarecce, smoked chipotle sabayon - one of the best pastas we’ve had in a long time - maybe ever. Packed with meat, beautifully rich with a great level of spice. Sadly leaving soon for the winter menu but if this is anything to go by, the new version will be incredible too! ➖ Organic leaf salad, pecorino, Beverly dressing ➖ T-bone, Westholme Wagyu MB4 Steak - cooked nicely but not as tender as I’d hoped. (This isnt typically in the set menu, at the time it was a half chicken but we swapped it out) ⭐️ Triple cooked fries ✔️ Pavlova, poached strawberry, coconut streusel - strawberry on strawberry on strawberry! You get one each! Every time I visit, I’m reminded just how stunning this venue is. Not only the space itself, but the cocktails, plating and overall atmosphere. This was our first time visiting for lunch and we actually found the service much more attentive than dinner service, although the sunset views here are still hard to beat.
