I see both sides of this bc genuinely who decided which parts of the culture can or can’t be shared. I’ve seen plenty of people from the same culture have differing opinions on what is or isn’t okay to use, so which side is the “correct” one? Also I hope yall have this same energy when predominantly white cultures don’t want to share their practices bc most of yall would call that racist

I honestly think it is entirely dependent on how much they r willing to share with u. So, if u go to their country and share however much of their culture with u thats the limit. You don’t ask for more

My biggest one is that braids are used to protect black hair not white hair and isn't just for "looks" or "fashion". Like yes now a days black people use it as fashion but its mostly for protecting hair and it doesn't protect white people's hair because theres is straight or I different kind of curls
