Rule: *You never call the person inside by his human name. You say “Ẹ̀gúngún” or the ancestor’s name.* To unmask a Ẹ̀gúngún is a serious offense in traditional towns. 3. *Types of Ẹ̀gúngún* There are hundreds of individual Ẹ̀gúngún, each representing a specific ancestor, lineage, or town founder. - *Ẹ̀gúngún Òkè*: Elder, slow, dignified.
