I always use Mapress fittings or Pegler if Mapress are not available, never had an issue yet “touch wood” 👍

Would not bother soldered fitting all day never and I mean never have I had a leak from one and they last longer than a rubber washer that those have and will eventually degrade and leak

Happens all the time. If the pipes are levered in any way like moved out the way for another pipe to be pressed it disturbs the joint
