@yvrmag: A Kyoto-inspired tea lounge and coworking space just opened in Arbutus Rove Kyoto opened today with a Matcha Tasting Open House, welcoming guests to explore the space, whisk ceremonial-grade matcha, and spend a little time slowing down. What stood out most wasn't the matcha itself, though there was plenty of it. It was the atmosphere. Conversations happened naturally between strangers, people settled into the furniture as if they had been there before, and no one seemed in a rush to leave. That sense of intention shows up everywhere. From the quiet design details to the slower pace of the room, nothing feels accidental.
