The city of Chicago SPECIFICALLY knows how to mitigate delinquency with funding grassroots programs like Daley, sr did when he gave money to the Vice Lords and they built a park and a place for kids after school and was mentoring n shyt. All the metrics on delinquency and violence dropped considerably in Englewood. They killed that program asap. They (the powers that be) know that criminalizing poverty only exacerbates the problems of poverty. This is just the latest discussion on the strategic generational economic strangulation of Black and brown youth.

These kids need stuff to do!!!! I have always wanted to start a social club after school for teens. We had things to do and we didn't have takeovers because we had things to do. The Rec and black clubs, but they showing took everything away and you found that more kids started to get into trouble over the gets. Now here we are across the country with the same thing, kids not having anywhere to go and nothing to do outside.

I miss after school city programs, or Wilson's boys and girls clubs, let these kids go out side and ask them what thy want. Pools, go karts, CLEAN CHEEP movies give kids ways to use their brains. KIDS DON'T NEED JAIL! NO YOUTH ESPECIALLY BLACK AND BROWN YOUTH DOES NO NEED FEED YOU DIEING PRISON/SLAVE SYSTEM! Keep you voices goinging guys!
