Saying "don't control her" while also referring to her as "my woman" is wild. However, I don't think it's wrong to let your partner know their outfit makes you feel uncomfortable. As long as you're taking accountability for your own feelings and accepting that you're the one with an insecurity. If my partner felt insecure about my clothes choice and I could see where he was coming from even if I didn't necessarily feel the same, I would change my clothes because I value his feelings. If I couldn't see his point at all or felt it came from a negative place, I wouldn't. Either way, it'd be a discussion.
