I understand everyone being upset that gohan wasn’t training and just got this boost out of thin air. But he got super Saiyan two by tapping into anger, the same way he got this form by tapping into anger, and when they overlaid the scream of kid Gohan with adult Gohan, it was nostalgic as hell.

This is the potential of gohan, he doesnt need to train as much as goku. Gohan has the latent ability to tap into when he gets mad. Its just like the sharingan from naruto. Excessive anger causes a transformation. Goku and vegeta are god based transformations, gohan is demon based.

This movie irritated me to no extent. How the fuck did gohan go from not training in years to practically just getting an mui or ultra ego level power boost. No dragon ball wish, no training, nothing. Just my dad is in trouble issues.

Born in 95, I got to witness the OG dragon ball movies and series. The fact we got THE REAL Gohan again sends chills down my spine. I’ll never forget growing up with the PS2 and playing the games and just thinking this was the best show ever 😭
