batman should loose. batman is very skilled. but if batman cant loose, if he's always the strongest and always the smartest and never makes mistakes and has a fucking contingency plan for everyone and every single scenario ever to exist, then he's boring. where's the struggle? the risk and the threat? that's definitely my biggest issue with post new 52 batman comics. because nowadays if batman is struggling it's only because he feels bad, and not really anything more interesting. I think batman should loose more often, and also while he is a stubborn asshole and he shouldn't stop being stubborn he should also be a little more receptive to other opinions. I think that while not all new batman is shit, and there's plenty of good comics. I think newer comics when it comes to batman (and red hood but this isn't about him, I just had to mention him because I'm a red hood fan) I think that batman is in a weird place as a character, where he's sort of become an exaggerated version of himself. and obviously there will be exceptions all over, I'm speaking very generally
