Genuine question - what’s the idea of coming to Poland to help the community with education? School is obligatory in Poland, why would you assume Polish villages need the help? It’s seriously just a question, I’m curiuos. Maybe the people simply felt patronized?

I’m Polish but I have mixed daughter and she experiences raci$m everyday in school, big or small cities, doesn’t matter as long it’s Poland. When we stayed in France or Germany, it was so much better. Even if outside of Poland is more “dangerous”, I will soon leave because Poland only have illusion of safety 💔

yes, unfortunately poland can be like that. most importantly, don't think there's anything wrong with you. i've been living here for 9 years, and i still often encounter this kind of attitude, even though my polish is at a c1 level. the main thing is not to take it personally. you're doing a great job.

I feel like at some point in history poles just stopped trusting anything new, wether it's foreigners, politics or every day life I feel like people here just think: new = bad. ALSO please don't listen to what "poles" say on the internet, for some reasons theres tons of bots just spreading hateful comments.
