The firefighters that came to my house and did everything they absolutely could to save my mom .. came back a couple weeks later and checked on me because they knew I was 1 month post partum. They’re so sweet and don’t get the recognition they deserve

This is a Special Moment for both the Fire/EMT and the families who have been affected in any emergency. I’m a proud wife and mama 2 grown sons who are Volunteer Fire/EMT.. with the responsibilities of being the first responders it’s hits each of them hard some harder than others. There’s calls they respond to that stays with them and there’s more PTSD with some responders that no one can imagine! It’s a tough an hard thing to do forever grateful that my hubby n sons are always ready to help others when in distress, With being a first responder is a calling that is one which God guides them it’s not one that everyone can do. They do not see themselves as Hero’s however I see each first responder as a blessing and someone who takes actions without hesitation there’s only one focus an it’s helping others first !! I pray for each and single responders and those who are affected. Remembering after they leave the calls is when the hard part hits them. I wait up until I hear them coming back into h the station they sound off their horns lights and siren letting me know they’re be home soon!! It’s a special calling to be a Firefighter/EMT!! My prayers to you an your family during your time.. Thank you to the Chief for his compassion an his respect for your daughter and your family!! God Bless you all !
