uhh PharmD here. No one said it was GLP hormone. It’s a GLP-1 receptor agonist (literally just google the class of medication of ozempic) meaning it stimulates the same receptor that endogenous GLP does. First 20 seconds of this video… and bro was already spreading misinformation.

Yes. One of the first GLP-1 medications was developed from a substance originally found in the venom of the Gila monster. Scientists discovered a compound called exendin-4 in the lizard’s saliva. Exendin-4 acts similarly to the human GLP-1 hormone, helping regulate blood sugar and appetite. This discovery led to the development of the medication Byetta (exenatide). However, modern GLP-1 medications are not made by extracting venom from lizards. They are manufactured in laboratories using synthetic or biotechnology-based processes. The lizard compound served as the original blueprint that researchers used to create the medication. If your medication label specifically says exendin-4, it is a laboratory-made version of the compound that was originally discovered in the Gila monster’s saliva—not actual venom taken from a lizard.

This isn’t true. It’s made in a lab, not extracted from a lizard.

No, Ozempic is not made from venom. While the active ingredient in Ozempic (semaglutide) belongs to a class of drugs whose discovery was inspired by the venom of the Gila monster (a lizard native to the southwestern United States and Mexico), the medication itself is completely synthetic

it blows my mind how someone can look at one side and never open their mind to the positive things that glp1s can do for the body. and honestly, I hear a spirit of pride, mostly, behind this man. r3ta reversed my PCOS/PMOS. it got rid of my fatty liver. and actually in clinical trials right now, is showing proof of healing cancers. it also is showing to be good for dementia/alzheimers. and several other ailments. this guy is fear mongering because he thinks he has all the facts, when he doesnt. the insulin resistance i had, completely gone. I have a VERY healthy relationship with food now. I am the healthiest i have EVER been in my life. I have gained healthy habits for life. glp1 peptides ar entirely made of chains of amino acids. amino acids are found within our human bodies. Tylenol is more toxic for the human body than these peptides. so...I better never hear this guy say he took a Tylenol for his headache. also, pharmakeia is more so sorcery and witchcraft through spell work, mind altering substances, and the like. context is key, and we cant just go and take scripture out of context to make it fit our agenda. this guy is inadvertently against peptides, but I bet he has never researched all the good these things have brought.
