as a gardener, landscape/weed barrier is a NIGHTMARE - roots will still push their way up and then it will be nearly impossible to pull them out. Birds will still poop and wind will still blow. I’ve always found them to be a losing battle even though they are portrayed as a god sent hahah. I would definitely suggest 5+ inches of mulch though! Cedar mulch will help keep critters out! Absolutely loving Tyke Town!🫶🌸
